Watch: Scene Inside Yankees Stadium Wednesday Looks Near Apocalyptic
Every post-apocalyptic movie looks like the entire world has gone a red-orange hue.
It makes for an eerie feeling, like the world truly has gone down the drain.
It's not something you ever expect to see in real life.
But on Wednesday, Yankees Stadium looked like something out of an end of the world movie as the New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox got ready to take the field.
The uncontrollable wild fires burning in Canada have created a massive smog that has covered the majority of the northeastern United States. It has brought about a "red alert" air quality warning. Cancelled outdoor activities for children. And created one of the most eerie scenes in recent memory.
As far as whether the game will be played or not is still up for consideration. At this time, the 7:05 p.m. ET game is still a go as the MLB league office continues to monitor the situation.
It'll be an interesting situation to continue monitoring.
