Conor McGregor may be the most hyped fighter in the UFC right now, but UFC boss Dana White does not like his chances when he steps up in weight class to take on Rafael Dos Anjos for the lightweight belt.
Talking to At The Buzzer, White said that it’s hard to see how McGregor, who holds the belt in the 145-pound weight class, will be able to make the move and take on the top fighter at the weight class 10 pounds above him.
“This guys moving up to 155 to take on an animal,” White said.
Dos Anjos defended his belt in dominate fashion his last two fights, beating Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and former champion Anthony Pettis.
McGregor and Dos Anjos fight to unify their belts at UFC 196 on March 5.
