Conor McGregor will not fight at UFC 200, UFC president Dana White said on ESPN on Tuesday.
McGregor, 27, tweeted earlier Tuesday he would be retiring from the sport, though it’s unclear if that’s official. White said McGregor was pulled from UFC 200 for failing to appear at a press conference.
McGregor was scheduled to fight Nate Diaz at UFC 200. The Irishman lost to Diaz in an upset at UFC 196 earlier this year.
