UFC's Jon Jones suspended one year by USADA
Jon Jones has been handed a one year suspension for his positive test for two banned substances.
UFC fighter Jon Jones has been handed a one year suspension for testing positive for two prohibited substances, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency announced.
Jones, 29, tested positive for clomiphene and letrozole in a urine sample from June 16, before he was scheduled to fight Daniel Cormier at UFC 200 in July. He says he took a contaminated sexual-performance pill that resulted in the positive test.

The suspension is retroactive to when the results were revealed and Jones is eligible to come back in July 2017.
Arbitrators understood his explanation and said that he should not be considered “a drug cheat” for his mistake.
