Amanda Nunes to Defend Title against Megan Anderson in December

Returning UFC Champion Amanda Nunes announced that she will indeed, defend her title in December against Megan Anderson despite being due to give birth months before.

UFC dual-weight champion Amanda Nunes, widely considered to be the greatest female MMA fighter of all time will defend her featherweight title in December.

The 32-year-old will face Megan Anderson on Dec. 12 in a location that has yet to be determined.

Nunes took a break from UFC After defending her featherweight title in June to prepare for the birth of her first child.

Nunes and her partner UFC Strawweight contender Nina Ansaroff are expecting the birth of their baby in September.

The event is expected to be at UFC 256 and will be the second consecutive defense of her featherweight championship, and second defense of the title overall.

Amanda is currently sitting at a 24-4-0 record and is still the only woman in UFC history to hold championship belts in different divisions simultaneously.
