With more than 100,000 spectators, Street Sense became the first winner of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile to win the Kentucky Derby.
Post-time favorite Street Sense (right) caught Hard Spun in mid-stretch on his way to winning the Run for the Roses.
Street Sense and jockey Calvin Borel broke away from the field on the fourth turn.
Before rallying, Street Sense was in 19th place at the half-mile pole.

"He's the best three-year-old I've ever been on in my life," Borel said of Street Sense.
As always, Mint Juleps were the big drink at Churchill Downs during the Kentucky Derby.
Two of the most famous people look-a-likes in the world, the Queen of England and Col. Sanders (of KFC fame), were roaming the crowds at Churchill Downs on Derby Day. The real Queen was also in attendance.
