Last weekend in Las Vegas, SI photgraphed perhaps the most American athletes of them all - professional rodeo cowboys - as they competed in tie-down roping. Here are some shots of the competition, won by Trevor Brazile of Decatur, Texas, who finished the year with a PRCA-record $421,115 in earnings.
