Kenny Britt, WR

At 6-4, 215 pounds, Britt's a load for college corners to deal with. He averaged an astounding 19.9 yards per catch and led the Big East with 1,232 receiving yards.

Noel Devine, RB

With the departure of Steve Slaton, Devine takes over as West Virginia's primary ballcarrier. He's just 5-8, 173 pounds, but his blazing speed and elusiveness allowed him to average 8.6 yards per carry in 2007.

Matt Grothe, QB

Grothe is undoubtedly the most dynamic player in this program's short history. He is a threat with his arm (2,670 yards, 14 TDs) and his legs (872 yards, 10 TDs), but he needs to cut down his interceptions (15 in '06 and 14 in '07).

Scott McKillop, MLB

The tackling machine led the NCAA with an average of 12.58 stops per game in 2007. McKillop is a very intelligent player with a motor that never quits.

Terrill Byrd, DT

Byrd is the centerpiece of Cincy's imposing defense. He had eight sacks and 17 tackles for loss in 2007; very impressive numbers for an interior lineman.

Mike Mickens, CB

Mickens is a true lockdown corner with a physical mentality. But opposing quarterbacks don't have the luxury of picking on Cincy's other corner, DeAngelo Smith, because he led the NCAA with eight interceptions last season.

Courtney Greene, FS

The four-year starter hits like a linebacker and covers like a corner. NFL scouts really like what they see in Rutgers' best overall player.

LeSean "Shady" McCoy, RB

McCoy burst on the scene as a freshman in 2007, rushing for 1,328 yards and 14 touchdowns and hauling in 33 passes for an additional 244 yards. At 5-11, 210 pounds, McCoy combines superb speed with notable power.

George Selvie, DE

The converted center led the Big East in sacks (13.5) and posted an NCAA-high 31.5 tackles for loss. Selvie may be a bit lean (6-foot-4, 242 pounds) for a defensive end, but his quickness makes him a nightmare for plodding offensive linemen.

Pat White, QB

White is the odds-on favorite to win a third consecutive Big East Offensive Player of the Year award. Last season he passed for 1,724 yards and 14 touchdowns (to just four interceptions) and racked up 1,335 yards and 14 touchdowns on the ground.
