Cubs outfielder Alfonso Soriano hits a solo home run in the 14th on Sunday off Cincinnati Reds pitcher Mike Lincoln, breaking a 3-3 tie. The shot -- Soriano's first hit of the game -- gave the Cubs a lead they wouldn't relinquish.
Josh Spence
Arizona State pitcher Josh Spence (top) joins the celebration after the Sun Devils beat Clemson, 8-2, in the NCAA super regional. Spence struck out 10 en route to the victory, and Arizona State won the series 2-0, earning its 21st trip to the College World Series.

Roger Federer celebrates after defeating Robin Soderling to win his first French Open title, 6-1, 7-6, 6-4. With his near-flawless performance Sunday, the Swiss star became the sixth man to complete a career Grand Slam, and tied Pete Sampras' record of 14 major singles titles.
Courtney Lee
Courtney Lee misses a layup at the end of regulation that would have won Game 2 of the NBA Finals for the Orlando Magic. Lee's miss sent the game into overtime, where the Lakers came up with a 101-96 victory and a 2-0 series lead.
Chris Osgood
Red Wings' Goalie Chris Osgood snags the puck, keeping it away from Pittsburgh's Ruslan Fedotenko during Game 5 of the Stanley Cup finals. Osgood had 22 saves in Detroit's 5-0 win. The home-ice victory put the Red Wings one game away from their second straight Stanley Cup title.
