Anthony Randolph and Anthony Morrow
Entering their second seasons, the two Anthonys were the leading scorers in Vegas (26.8 points for Randolph (pictured), 24.7 for Morrow) and both shot 60.9 percent from the field. The two even engaged in a little "can you top this," as Morrow answered Randolph's 42-point effort against the Bulls with 47 one game later against the Hornets.
Blake Griffin
The No. 1 pick in the June draft didn't disappoint in averaging 19.2 points, 10.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists, though he did stumble at the free-throw line (45.9 percent).
Chase Budinger
The second-round pick from Arizona made 8-of-11 (72.7 percent) from three-point range, shot 68.1 percent overall and averaged 17.8 points in five games.
Brandon Jennings
After skipping college to play one pro season Italy, many U.S. fans were getting their first extended look at the No. 10 pick in the June draft. Jennings showed his quickness and court vision in leading Vegas with 8.2 assists (against 4.2 turnovers) and 3.6 steals for the 4-1 Bucks. He had 13 points, 14 assists and seven steals in a victory against fellow lottery pick Tyreke Evans and Sacramento.
Jonny Flynn
With fellow point guard Ricky Rubio absent, Flynn had the stage to himself. He took advantage by averaging 15 points and 7.4 assists (against a too-high 5.2 turnovers) while also connecting on 7-of-12 (58.3 percent) from three-point range and shooting 48 percent overall.
JaVale McGee
McGee followed a promising rookie season by averaging 17.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and a Vegas-leading 4 blocks. In his fourth and final appearance, the 7-footer had 31 points, eight rebounds and four blocks in a victory against the Knicks. The Wizards also got a solid effort from Andray Blatche (19.7 points, 11 rebounds in three games).
Tyreke Evans
Evans struggled with his shooting and averaged 4.2 turnovers, but he also displayed explosiveness that could make for an interesting backcourt pairing with Kevin Martin. The former Memphis star averaged 19.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists in five games.
Adam Morrison
Seeking to revive his career after struggling in Charlotte and riding the bench for half a season with the Lakers, the No. 3 pick in the 2006 draft was the fifth-leading scorer at 20.8 points.
Joey Dorsey
Dorsey, who played sparingly as a rookie last season, averaged 9.8 points and a Vegas-leading 14.8 rebounds in five games. He pulled down 20 rebounds in a victory against the Lakers to help the Rockets cap a 5-0 week.
Rodrigue Beaubois
Beaubois showed why the Mavs believe he could contribute immediately as a rookie. The 21-year-old French point guard averaged 17 points, 3.8 assists and 3.4 rebounds in five games. He hit 7-of-12 from three-point range as part of a 34-point outing against the Rockets.
Jodie Meeks
The former Kentucky guard helped the Bucks win four of five games by averaging 19 points on 55.7 percent shooting. That's a nice early return for the 41st selection in the 2009 draft.
Marcus Williams
Trying to earn a job after being waived by Golden State in March, Williams helped lead Memphis to a 5-0 record. A former first-round pick of the Nets, Williams tied for the Vegas lead with 8.2 assists, including a 17-assist performance in his debut.
Austin Daye
In his final two games (victories against the Cavaliers and Knicks), the slender forward from Gonzaga combined for 47 points (on 16-of-31 shooting) and 23 rebounds. Led by Daye (averages of 17 points, 8.8 rebounds) and fellow draft pick DaJuan Summers (18 points, 5.4 rebounds), the Pistons won four of five games.
