Athlete Mega Mansions
Athlete Mega Mansions
Derek Jeter
Hank Steinbrenner made news this week when he made a constructive comment about the Yankee's lack of hunger in 2010. "Sometimes I think maybe they celebrated a little too much last year," Steinbrenner said of his team. "Some of the players are too busy building mansions and doing other things, not concentrating on winning. ..." Steinbrenner stated he wasn't referring to anybody in particular. But it is believed he was alluding to Derek Jeter and his 30,000 square-foot, seven-bedroom palace in Tampa, Fla., nicknamed `St. Jetersburg' (pictured). With that in mind, here's a look at some other athlete's lavish mega-mansions over the years.
