Kardashian Family

On Wednesday, Kim Kardashian announced that she is engaged to her boyfriend of six months, New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries (inset). In honor of the happy couple, here is a closer look at the sometimes intersecting worlds of the Kardashian family and sports.

Bruce Jenner

Before he became a part of the Kardashian clan, Bruce Jenner was a track and field star, capturing a gold medal in the decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics. He quickly became a celebrity, appearing on the cover of Wheaties and guest starring in a movie with The Village People.
