Winter X Games star Sarah Burke died on Thursday from injuries suffered in a Jan. 10 crash during a training run in Park City, Utah. The Canadian freestyle skier was a pioneer in the world of superpipe skiing, becoming one of the first women to get involved with the sport and successfully lobbying Olympic officials to include the event at the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia. Burke was 29.
