Slovenian ski-jumper Peter Prevc set a new world record with a 250-meter jump at an event in Norway on Saturday.
"Right now it's hard to describe my feelings, it will probably take a few days," Prevc said, according to the international skiing federation's website. It's always great to jump far. This win today and the world record is my biggest success so far."

Prevc's jump broke a record set by Norwegian Johan Remen Evensen in 2011 at the same slope by 3.5 meters, according to CNN. The record-setting jump also gave Prevc a win in the Vikersund FIS World Cup event.
Prevc, 22, won a bronze medal and a silver medal at last winter's Sochi Olympics.
