The British Athletics kit for the upcoming IAAF World Championships in Beijing is missing the Union Jack, Olympic long jump champion Greg Rutherford shared on Twitter.

In September 2013, British Athletics signed a deal with Nike to outfit the national team at global championships through 2020.

Adidas previously held the rights to the British Athletics uniform for eight years. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, Nike-sponsored British athlete Mo Farah crossed the finish line for gold medals in the 5,000-meters and 10,000-meters wearing a kit bearing the three stripe logo.

The British Olympic Association has its own deal with Adidas, which means athletes will be wearing Adidas at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Designer Stella McCartney was hired as the creative director for the new uniforms.
