Lauren, a 6-foot senior outside hitter at Father Ryan High, had 30 kills and 19 digs in a 3–1 win over Briarcrest Christian School for the Division II-AA state title. She was named tournament MVP. The state's Gatorade player of the year, Lauren finished the season with a team-high 466 kills along with 314 digs and 46 blocks. She will play at Colorado.

New Palestine, Ind. > Football

Alex, a senior quarterback at New Palestine High, had 667 yards of total offense, including a state-title-game-record 501 yards passing, in a 64–61 loss to Snider High of Fort Wayne in the 5A final. He led an offense that set Indiana records for total yards (7,701) and points (854) in 2015, and had a 28–1 record over two seasons, with a 4A state title win in '14.

. Emma Hasco

Upper St. Clair, Pa. > Soccer

Emma, a senior midfielder at Upper St. Clair High, scored twice in a 2–1 win over previously unbeaten Central Bucks High East of Doylestown for the state 3A title. She had 19 goals and 25 assists to lead the Panthers to a 20–2–1 record and was named an All-America selection and the state player of the year. Emma has committed to Penn State.

. Isaiah Martinez

Lemoore, Calif. > Wrestling

Martinez, a sophomore at Illinois, won his 56th straight match (and 14th to open the season), an 11–5 decision over Joe Smith of Oklahoma State for the 157-pound title at the Reno Tournament of Champions. The defending NCAA champion at that weight, he was named the 2015 freshman of the year by InterMat and Amateur Wrestling.

Barrington, R.I. > Volleyball

Maile, a 5' 8" freshman middle hitter at Barrington High, had 14 kills and six digs in a 3–0 win over Cranston High West to lead the Eagles to a 19–0 finish and the Division II title, their first state championship in 19 years. Maile was named the tournament MVP and the D-II player of the year.
