Athletes react to Donald Trump winning the presidential election

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was elected the 45th President of the United States on Tuesday night and notable sports figures took to Twitter to voice their opinions.
Trump defeated Hillary Clinton to succeed Barack Obama as president. He collected 279 electoral votes and won crucial states including Florida, Wisconsin, North Carolina and Ohio.
Trump was endorsed by sports figures such as New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, former Indiana basketball coach Bobby Knight, golf legend Jack Nicklaus, ex-Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling, former New York Yankees outfielder Paul O'Neill and many others.
