The Andy's Frozen Custard 300 race at Texas Motor Speedway was decided by a matter of inches Saturday.

Sam Mayer made a final push on the last lap and held on to beat Ryan Sieg by 0.002 seconds, good for the second-closest finish in NASCAR Xfinity Series history.

Mayer led for just five of the race's 200 laps. The 20-year-old, driving the No. 1 JR Motorsports Chevrolet, notched his fifth career win and first of the season.

Sieg finished just inches short of his first career win in 322 starts for the RSS Racing team.

Justin Allgaier, who led for 117 of the race's 200 laps, crossed the finish line 0.517 seconds behind Mayer in third place.
