Bubba Wallace Applauds NASCAR's Decision on Confederate Flag

NASCAR officially banned the confederate flag shortly after Wallace called for the ban

After calling on NASCAR to do so, Bubba Wallace was very pleased with NASCAR's decision to ban the confederate flag from events.

Reporter: Well, a big announcement by NASCAR today. But because you were you were very pointed on your comments about wanting some change within the sport. What's your take on the announcement that took place a little while ago from NASCAR? 

Bubba Wallace: [claps] Bravo. 

Robin Lundberg: That was Bubba Wallace's reaction to NASCAR's decision to ban the Confederate flag from its events. He previously called for the sport to get rid of it, stating, "It runs contrary to our commitment to providing an inclusive environment for all fans, our competitors and our industry." And after the decision said, it was a huge, pivotal moment. We've already seen the car Wallace will drive at Martinsville in a race he is now dubbing the biggest of his career.
