Before: April 10, 2011 After: Dec. 13, 2011 One of the biggest questions heading into the lockout was: Who would become the next Shawn Kemp and return grossly overweight? Well, it seems many players took note of Kemp's infamous 1999 return and took the opposite approach. And none more so than Oklahoma City big man Kendrick Perkins, who dropped nearly 40 pounds in his time off to shock fans and media alike. He ain't squishy no more!

Before: Oct. 22, 2010 After: Dec. 13, 2011 The 6-foot-8 Bobcats center, however, was among the few to put on some extra pounds -- a reported 25 of them. It posed a problem for coach Paul Silas, who had pegged Diop as a replacement for Kwame Brown in the paint.

Before: Sept. 27, 2010 After: Dec. 12, 2011 Now with the Orlando Magic, "Big Baby" looks less like a baby and more like a chiseled NBA forward after losing nearly 20 pounds since his days in Boston.

Before: Dec. 14, 2010 After: Dec. 26, 2011 The Timberwolves big man had a little extra meat on his bones last season, but given his numbers, it wasn't really an issue. But after dropping 25 pounds in the offseason, the rebounding guru has started the season in rare form, boasting even better numbers and dominating even more in the paint.

Before: Dec. 17, 2010 After: Dec. 19, 2011 The 6-foot-11 Frenchman was never a skinny guy, but he added more bulge than bicep during the lockout. So much so that even coach Silas said his new physique "was upsetting."

Before: Aug. 17, 2010 After: Dec. 15, 2011 While the second-year center is known more for his hot temper, his work over during the offseason can't be ignored. When most expected him, more than others, to return from the work stoppage overweight, he maintained a rigorous training schedule and dropped some pounds along the way.

Before: Sept. 24, 2010 After: Dec. 10, 2011 Laugh all you want, but the big guy actually got into shape this offseason. According to the Miami Herald , Curry worked out with trainer Tim Glover in Chicago and dropped down to 300 pounds in August. He's believed to have weight around 350 when he tried out with the Heat in March. Now an official member of the Miami Heat, Curry is listed at 295 pounds.

Before: July 15, 2011 After: Dec. 13, 2011 The Round Mound of Rebound has become the Oprah of the NBA. His weight is always news, and so it was hardly shocking that he signed on to become a spokesman for Weight Watchers ( a gig he says is a scam , by the way). Thanks to his new sponsorship, the TNT analyst has already shed 38 pounds (down 27 pounds in this picture.)
