Video: Grizzlies' Quincy Pondexter dunks on Spurs' Boris Diaw
Nobody is really tuning into the Western Conference finals expecting tons of high-flying highlights, but that's exactly what Grizzlies forward Quincy Pondexter delivered when he dunked over Spurs forward Boris Diaw in Game 2.
With the Spurs leading 83-73 and a little less than six minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Pondexter received the ball in the right corner after a cross-court pass from Mike Conley. Faking to get by a hard close out, the third-year reserve forward out of Washington drove baseline and quickly rose to dunk over Diaw, who was attempting to rotate over and provide help defense on the play.

Pondexter finished with seven points (on three-for-six shooting) and nine rebounds in 37 minutes, but the Spurs held off a Grizzlies rally to prevail in overtime. San Antonio now holds a 2-0 lead as the series shifts to Memphis for Game 3 on Saturday.
Pondexter joins the “Dunk of the Playoffs” conversation, which currently includes Grizzlies forward Tayshaun Prince, Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard, Knicks guard Iman Shumpert, Rockets forward Carlos Delfino, Thunder forward Kevin Durant, Warriors center Andrew Bogut, Bulls forward Taj Gibson, Pacers forward Gerald Green, Pacers center Roy Hibbert and Warriors forward Harrison Barnes.
