Video: Harrison Barnes dunks with left hand over Ryan Anderson in USA Showcase

LAS VEGAS — Warriors forward Harrison Barnes threw down a left-handed dunk over Pelicans forward Ryan Anderson late in the third quarter of the USA Basketball Showcase on Thursday.

With less than a minute remaining in the third and USA White holding an 87-77 lead, Barnes attacked the paint to his left off the dribble from the right wing. As he approached the protected circle, Barnes jumped into a cruising lefty finish, as Anderson extended his right arm to block the shot. Barnes finished over the top of Anderson’s challenge, cutting USA White’s lead to eight points.

Barnes, 21, was a lottery pick in the 2012 draft. He averaged 9.2 points and 4.1 rebounds in 81 appearances for Golden State last season.

USA White took an 89-79 lead into the fourth quarter. Barnes had eight points and one rebound for USA Blue through three quarters. Anthony Davis led USA Blue with 18 points; Kyrie Irving had 18 for USA White entering the fourth. Earlier in the game, Barnes had another high-rising moment, but he flubbed the finish.
