The Spurs have agreed to trade point guard Nando De Colo to the Raptors for forward Austin Daye, according to Yahoo Sports.
De Colo. 26, a 2009 second-round pick in his second season, logged periodic minutes as a reserve with San Antonio but had been overtaken lately by both Patty Mills and Cory Joseph in the rotation. That the Spurs would move De Colo with Tony Parker still sidelined indefinitely is at least a vote of some confidence in Mills and Joseph, insofar as their ability to provide passable minutes at the point with Manu Ginobili now back in the Spurs' lineup to help facilitate.
Daye, 25, played only 33 minutes over eight games all season for the Raptors. The Spurs will be the fourth team for the 15th pick in the 2009 draft.
