Heat's LeBron James rocks tall hat like Pharrell after loss to Timberwolves

LeBron James wore a tall hat -- similar to the one donned by Pharrell Williams at the Grammy Awards-- following Miami's 122-121 double overtime home loss to Minnesota on Friday.
In an ideal world, James would play forever and his hat would be retired immediately. Not even a four-time MVP is capable of pulling off the dark, wide-brimmed look we usually associate with park rangers. This could wind up being a troubling development in the copy cat world of NBA fashion, and the playoff podiums are just around the corner. You've been warned.
Williams drew headlines when he wore a similar brown hat while performing his hit song "Happy" at the Grammys in January. The Daily Mail reports that the singer/rapper/songwriter/producer later auctioned the Vivienne Westwood hat for $44,100, and that the Arby's fast food chain placed the winning bid. The proceeds went to charity.

James finished with a game-high 34 points (on 12-for-24 shooting), eight rebounds, five assists and four steals. Miami dropped to 52-23 with the loss but remained in the East's No. 1 spot thanks to an Indiana loss to Toronto.
