Video: Warriors' Andre Iguodala drops Nuggets' Quincy Miller with crossover
An Andre Iguodala crossover dropped Quincy Miller to the court during Denver's 100-99 road victory over Golden State on Thursday.
Ankles don't get broken much more cleanly than this.
With a little more than four minutes remaining in the first quarter and Golden State up 18-11, Iguodala pushed the ball in transition. As he approached the three-point line, he set up Miller with a left-to-right, behind-the-back crossover before yanking the ball back across the front of his body from right-to-left. The second crossover sent Miller spilling fast first to the court, as Iguodala continued on his drive to the hoop, which ended with him getting fouled.
The 21-year-old Miller -- a 2012 second-round pick out of Baylor -- could only laugh about the sequence on Twitter afterwards, joking that he would leave the social networking site because of all the wisecracks being made at his expense.
"He got me," Miller wrote. "I ain't never wearing them damn sneakers again. ... [I'm] about to throw [the shoes] in the Pacific Ocean. Well, anyway, good team win. ... I'm off Twitter for about two years."
Iguodala finished with six points (on 2-for-6 shooting), four rebounds, three assists and two steals in a losing effort.
Miller posted six points (on 2-for-6 shooting) and two rebounds for Denver. Timofey Mozgov tallied 23 points (on 10-for-15 shooting), a career-high 29 rebounds and three blocks to lead the Nuggets.
Denver improved to 35-44 with the victory. Golden State dropped to 48-30 with the loss.
