Chandler Parsons will become a restricted free agent Tuesday after the Rockets declined their fourth-year option on the 25-year-old swingman, according to Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports.
With averages of 16.6 points on 47 percent shooting, 5.5 rebounds and four assists per game, Chandler had his best season of his budding career last season, helping lead the Rockets to a 54-win season before losing 4-2 to the Portland Trail Blazers in the opening round of the playoffs.
The free agency period officially begins July 1.

The Rockets have told Chandler Parsons they have officially declined his 4th-year option next season thus making him a RFA, a source said.
