The Raptors appear close to coming to terms with Greivis Vasquez. Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun reports that Toronto is "closing in on a deal" with the free agent point guard, who was acquired from the Kings in a midseason trade.
Toronto agreed to a three-year deal with power forward Patrick Patterson on Friday, two days after agreeing to re-sign point guard Kyle Lowry to a four-year, $48 million contract.
Vasquez, 27, averaged 9.5 points and 3.5 assists in 61 games, providing valuable minutes as a backup to Lowry. The Raptors won 48 games and earned the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference before getting knocked out in the first round of the playoffs by the Brooklyn Nets.
