Oklahoma City Thunder's Perry Jones will miss 4-6 weeks after he underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.
Oklahoma City Thunder's Perry Jones will miss 4-6 weeks after he underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman reported Monday.
Ten thoughts from the first week of the NBA Summer League
According to Mayberry's report, the surgery was previously scheduled. Jones played in the Thunder’s Orlando Pro Summer League finale on Friday and scored a team-high 20 points in the 103-98 win over Miami.
Jones was drafted by the Thunder with No. 28 pick in the 2012 NBA draft, but he was expected to be taken earlier. Sports Illustrated's Seth Davis reported in July 2012 that the reason for the fall was likely Jones' knees.
Jones averaged 3.5 points and 1.8 rebounds per game during the 2013-14 season.
