Glen Davis will return to the Los Angeles Clippers on a one-year contract, reports Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times.
The forward's deal will be for the veteran minimum, worth $1.2 million.
In February 2014, the Clippers signed Davis after his contract was bought out by the Orlando Magic. In Los Angeles, Big Baby reunited with Doc Rivers, who coached Davis for the first four years of his career in Boston. In 23 games with the Clippers, Davis averaged 4.2 points and 3.0 rebounds in 13.4 minutes per game. For his career, Davis has averaged 8.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
Davis will back up Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and free agent signeeSpencer Hawes in the Los Angeles frontcourt.
