Coach K says he would trade Andrew Wiggins for Kevin Love
Duke and Team USA coach Mike Krzyzewski would trade Cavaliers No. 1 draft pick Andrew Wiggins for Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love, he told CBS Sports Radio's John Feinstein.
Krzyzewski, who coached Love during the 2010 World Championships and 2012 Olympics, said he would make the trade without giving it second thought.
"There's absolutely not one second of hesitancy. I'd trade for Kevin Love," Krzyzewski said. "That's not saying anything bad about any of the other youngsters. Love's an All-Star and he's a double-double guy. But he's a double-double guy who can spread the court."
Love has been the subject of trade rumors this offseason as he enters what could be the last season of his contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, if he chooses as expected to opt out after the 2014-15 season. The Cleveland Cavaliers have been linked to Love after signingLeBron James earlier this month.
The Cavs are reportedly close to signing Wiggins, which would delay any potential trade by 30 days.
