The three children, Terrence Reed, 7, Thomas Moore, 10, and Keiearra Williams, 15, were helping their mother work a fruit stand. They were working to raise money for their church on a corner in northern Philadelphia when they were stuck by a stolen SUV. Their mother remains in critical condition in a hospital.
Barkley, who is now an NBA analyst, was drafted by the 76ers in 1984 and spent eight seasons in Philadelphia.
