The native-Nigerian was selected 51st overall in June's draft and will play for the Knicks' team in Westchester. The 22-year-old is the younger brother of Giannis Antetokounmpo, who plays for the Bucks.
Last season in the NBDL, Thanasis averaged 12 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.3 blocks per game.
