Celtics guard Rajon Rondo, agent deny trade request
Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo and his agent have denied that Rondo asked for a trade.
During ESPN's Around the Horn last week, Jackie MacMullan suggested that Rondo wanted out of Boston.
A spokeswoman for Rondo's agent Bill Duffy said they have discussed the reports and any trade request has not been made.

“Neither Bill nor Rajon know where this has come from, but it didn’t come from them,” Alyson Furch said to the Boston Herald. “They want this on the record. Neither has spoken to anyone about this.”
Rondo, a four-time All-Star, is set to make $13 million next season in the final year of his deal.
He averaged 11.7 points, 9.8 assists and 5.5 rebounds in 30 games last season after returning from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.
