Free-agent forward Hedo Turkoglu is close to re-signing with the Los Angeles Clippers, Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reported Sunday night. The contract would be for one season and the veterans' minimum of $1.4 million, according to the report.

The 35-year-old Turkoglu played in 38 games with the Clippers last season after structuring a buyout of his contract with the Orlando Magic. In just more than 10 minutes per game with Los Angeles, Turkoglu averaged 3.0 points and 2.3 rebounds. Throughout a 14-year NBA career with the Clippers, Magic, Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors, and San Antonio Spurs, Turkoglu has averaged 11.5 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.

The Clippers are also returning Glen "Big Baby" Davis as a reinforcement for their bench. They are also reportedly interested in signing free-agent guard Ray Allen, who has also been linked to the Spurs and Cleveland Cavaliers.
