The San Antonio Spurs are working out free agent forward Michael Beasley this week, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

Beasley, 25, has reportedly worked out for several other teams this offseason as well, including twice with the Los Angeles Lakers. He spent last season with the Miami Heat, averaging 7.9 points and 3.1 rebounds in 55 games.

The former No. 2 pick has also played for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Phoenix Suns in his six-year career and had an earlier stint with the Heat for two seasons.

The Spurs currently have 14 players signed to guaranteed contracts, one shy of the maximum roster size. They have yet to come to terms with restricted free agent Aron Baynes and are reportedly open to sign-and-trade offers for the center.
