The online NBA Store has revealed a new New Orleans Pelicans alternate jersey, ahead of the team's official unveiling of an alternate uniform.

The online NBA Store has revealed a new New Orleans Pelicans alternate jersey ahead of the team's official unveiling of an alternate uniform. 

On Monday, the Pelicans tweeted that they might have a sneak peek of their new alternate uniform for fans via Snapchat on Tuesday. Twitter user @Gary_Walker96 first noticed that a new jersey already appears on NBAStore.com.

Last season, New Orleans wasn't allowed to use an alternate uniform since it was in its first season following being re-named.

The Pelicans' home uniform is primarily white, and their road uniform primarily blue, with both having gold trim. The new alternate jersey on NBAStore.com is red with blue trim.
