Report: 76ers rookie K.J. McDaniels signs one-year, non-guaranteed deal
76ers rookie forward K.J. McDaniels signed a one-year, non-guaranteed deal with team, allowing him to become a restricted free agent in 2015.
Philadelphia 76ers rookie forward K.J. McDaniels signed a one-year, non-guaranteed deal with team, allowing him to become a restricted free agent next summer, reports Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski.
McDaniels was selected with the 32nd pick in June’s NBA Draft and did not show up for training camp on Tuesday after previously not having a deal in place.
Accoring to the report, McDaniels is first player to reject the team's structure of four-year deals, which calls for non-guaranteed seasons in the third and fourth year.
McDaniels, a 6-6 wing, left after his junior season at Clemson, where he led the team in points, rebounds, three-point field goals made, steals, and blocked shots
