Cavaliers' LeBron James is betting favorite to win NBA MVP
Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James is the betting favorite to win the 2014-15 NBA Most Valuable Player Award, according to odds released by Bovada.
James has 5/6 odds to win the award. Kevin Durant, the league's reigning MVP, is second with 4/1 odds. Bovada manager Kevin Bradley said Durant's recent foot fracture moved James to the odds-on-favorite spot, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The Clippers' Blake Griffin is third with 12/1 odds and the Bulls' Derrick Rose and Thunder's Russell Westbrook, who both have 15/1 odds, round out the top five.
The Bucks' Jabari Parker is the favorite to be named NBA Rookie of the Year with 5/2 odds, while No. 1 draft pick Andrew Wiggins is second with 15/4 odds.

The Spurs' Gregg Popovich is the favorite to win Coach of the Year, with the Cavaliers' David Blatt next.
The 2014-15 NBA regular season begins on Oct. 28 with three games.
