Rubio sprained his ankle on Thursday night against the Magic after rolling it on a drive to the basket.

The Timberwolves selected Rubio with the No. 5 pick in the 2009 draft. This season, the 24-year-old has averaged 9.0 points and 10.0 assists per game. He recently agreed to a four-year contract extension reportedly worth $55 million.
Minnesota is 2-3 this season.
