Blazers forward Nicolas Batum has right knee contusion
An MRI on Portland Trail Blazers forward Nicolas Batum revealed that he has a right knee contusion, the team announced.
The team said that Batum is questionable for Tuesday’s home game against the Charlotte Hornets.
Batum was injured with less than two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 116-100 win over the Denver Nuggets when he went up for a rebound with Nuggets center Timofey Mozgov and Mozgov made contact with Batum’s calf. Batum, who had 10 points and nine rebounds in the game, fell to to the ground as play continued.

Batum is averaging 9.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists and one block per game in seven games this season for the Trail Blazers.
The Trail Blazers are 4-3 and host the Hornets on Tuesday at 10 p.m.
