With a little more than four minutes remaining in the third quarter and Toronto leading 67-62, Kyle Lowry initiated the offense with Ross on the left wing. A back screen from Amir Johnson on Dante Exum quickly cleared Ross for take-off as he darted hard toward the paint from the left angle while looking back in Lowry's direction.

There was no help defense in the paint, so Lowry simply lofted a pass over the top to Ross, who used both hands to corral the ball as he leaned back before stuffing it through with his right hand on the way down. The 2013 Slam Dunk Champion was almost head-level with the rim as he completed the play.

Toronto pulled away in the second half to improve to 8-2 on the season. DeMar DeRozan posted a team-high 27 points (on 10-of-17 shooting) and three rebounds. Lowry added 19 points, four assists and three rebounds. Ross finished with four points in the win.

Utah fell to 4-7. All five Jazz starters finished in double figures, with Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter each scoring 18 points to lead the way.
