Video: Solomon Hill's buzzer beater gives Pacers win over Hornets

In a game hyped for the return of former Pacers guard Lance Stephenson, Indiana clipped the Hornets on Wednesday night thanks to a buzzer-beating putback by forward Solomon Hill.
With around six seconds remaining and the game tied 86-86, Pacers guard Rodney Stuckey, guarded by Stephenson, drove to the basket before taking a step-back jumper from the elbow.
Thanks to Stephenson's recovery defense, Stuckey airballed his jumper. Hill beat Charlotte defender Gerald Henderson and was in position to collect the errant shot and quickly throw it in from under the basket for the 88-86 home win. After sitting on the rim, the ball rolled in just as time expired.
The play was similar to the Grizzlies' buzzer-beating lob against the Kings last week, though Stuckey clearly wasn't attempting a pass to Hill.

Hornets center Al Jefferson led all scorers with 28 points, while fellow center Roy Hibbert led Indiana with 18 points.
Stephenson himself has a buzzer beater this season, banking in a three-pointer in double overtime to defeat the Hawks earlier this month.
The Pacers improved to 5-7 with the win while the Hornets dropped to 4-8.
