Report: Rockets acquire Corey Brewer in trade with Timberwolves
The Rockets have acquired small forward Corey Brewer in a trade with the Timberwolves, according to Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Minnesota will receive guard Troy Daniels and two second-round draft picks in exchange, Wojnarowski reports. Houston will also receive guard Alexy Shved from the 76ers, with forward Ronny Turiaf going to Philadelphia from Minnesota, according to Wojnarowksi. Turiaf is out for the season with a hip injury.
The Rockets will release veteran swingman Francisco Garcia to open up a roster spot, Wojarowski reports.
Houston had tried Thursday to acquire Rajon Rondo from the Celtics, but he was instead traded to the Mavericks.

Brewer, 28, is averaging 10.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game this season. He leads the league in steals with 2.2 per game.
Daniels, 23, saw limited action in 17 games this season. He went undrafted out of VCU in 2013.
