Thunder F Kevin Durant (ankle) out Friday vs. Lakers
Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant will not play Friday night against the Los Angeles Lakers, according to Anthony Slater of The Oklahoman.
Durant sprained his right ankle on Thursday against the Golden State Warriors and is day-to-day.
The reigning NBA Most Valuable Player returned on Dec. 2 after missing the first 17 games of the season due to a broken foot. Oklahoma City has gone 7-2 since his return, including seven straight wins before Thursday's loss.

Durant is averaging 22.4 points, five rebounds and 3.6 assists in nine games this season. He scored a season-high 30 points against the Warriors on Thursday before leave the game at halftime.
The Thunder (12-14) play the Lakers in Los Angeles (8-17) on Friday.
