Bulls guard Aaron Brooks ejected against Nets for arguing with referee
Bulls guard Aaron Brooks was ejected after receiving two technical fouls during the Bulls' 96-82 Tuesday night loss against the Nets in Chicago.
Brooks was assessed the fouls in quick succession after a Chicago timeout following an 8-0 Brooklyn run to open the second quarter. As players walked off the floor, Brooks received the first technical when, in close sight of a referee, he bounced the ball across the court.

Apparently dismayed by the ruling, Brooks turned toward the referee and began talking in his direction while approaching the bench, drawing the second technical and an automatic ejection.
After taking a few steps, Brooks moved up the court toward the official and was restrained by an assistant coach, with teammate Taj Gibson also holding Brooks back.

Starter Derrick Rose replaced Brooks in the game. At the time of his ejection, Brooks had scored four points in seven minutes and the Bulls trailed 32-31.
Over 31 games this season, Brooks has averaged 11.0 points and 3.3 assists in 20.4 minutes while emerging as valuable reserve in Chicago's backcourt rotation. Brooklyn improved to 15-16 while Chicago fell to 22-10.
