Celtics trade center Brandan Wright to Suns for first-round pick
The Boston Celtics have finalized a trade that will send center Brandan Wright to the Phoenix Suns. Phoenix announced the deal via Twitter on Friday night. The trade was first reported by Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Suns will send Boston the first round draft pick they own via Minnesota. Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge told Wright earlier Friday that he was on the trading block and should expect to be on a different team, according to a report from CSN Washington.

Over 35 total games this season, Wright averaged 7.5 points on 72.4 percent shooting, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game while posting a Player Efficiency Rating of 24.2.
