Indiana Pacers forward Paul George was recorded dunking during practice on Thursday, five months after his gruesome leg injury.

George sustained a compound tibia-fibula fracture during a Team USA scrimmage in August and underwent surgery. He is expected to miss the 2014-15 season.

George, 24, averaged 21.7 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists last season for the Pacers, who earned the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference after going 56-26 in the regular season. Indiana later lost to the Miami Heat in the conference finals.

In October, George was seen shooting after a practice.

The Pacers are 15-25, tied for ninth in the East. They are ranked No. 22 in SI.com's latest NBA power rankings.
