The gesture reportedly occurred after the Heat missed three shots on the final possession of the third quarter. The sequence reportedly left Wade frustrated.
Wade scored 17 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out four assists in the loss, which dropped Miami to 18-24 on the season.
Over 32 games this season, Wade has averaged 21.8 points 5.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds in 32.5 minutes.
The Heat will host the Indiana Pacers (15-29) on Friday.
