Heat G Dwyane Wade (hamstring) expected to miss at least 2-3 weeks
Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade is out indefinitely with a right hamstring injury, Ira Winderman of the SunSentinel reports.
Wade, who missed seven games in November and two earlier this month due to left hamstring injuries, is expected to be sidelined at least two to three weeks.
The latest setback occurred during Tuesday night's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, in which Wade scored 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting with four assists in 19 minutes.
"You can’t put a time on it," Wade said of the injury, according to the Miami Herald. "You can’t look at the hamstring and say you’re going to be out this amount of games. Like many muscle strains, you’ve got to go day-by-day."
Over 35 games this season, Wade has averaged 21.4 points, 5.4 assists and 3.8 rebounds while shooting 48.7 percent from the field.
The Heat have seven games prior to the All-Star Break, which starts on Feb. 12. Miami (20-25) will host the Dallas Mavericks on Friday.
