Rockets' Patrick Beverley replaces John Wall for Skills Challenge
Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley has been selected to replace Washington Wizards guard John Wall in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge, the NBA announced on Tuesday.
According to Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post, Wall is not participating in order to rest.
Beverley is averaging 10.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists this season for the Rockets.

The other participants in the Skills Challenge are Trey Burke (Utah Jazz), Jimmy Butler (Chicago Bulls), Michael Carter-Williams (Philadelphia 76ers), Brandon Knight (Milwaukee Bucks), Kyle Lowry (Toronto Raptors), Jeff Teague (Atlanta Hawks) and Isaiah Thomas (Phoenix Suns).
The Skills Challenge will take place on Saturday as part of All-Star Weekend at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The All-Star Game will take place on Sunday at Madison Square Garden.
